The FDA has approved the Plan B emergency contraceptive pill to be distributed as a non-prescription medication. Students 18 yrs or older who are eligible to use the Health Services (HS) may now stop by the HS Pharmacy Mon - Fri 8 - 4:30, and Saturdays 9 - 1, to purchase Plan B at a cost of $28.00 (subject to change). A governmental issued ID (driver’s license, state or military ID, passport) must be presented. Please note that the NIU ID does not meet this requirement. Per university policy, cash, check , VISA, or MasterCard payment is required at the time of service.
